I see what you mean, perhaps its not related. The symptoms are simlar though.
I installed winamp today, it was my first time ever installing it on this machine. I have not installed any plugins....

Looks like I have been able to reproduce the winamp 100% CPU...

Winamp 100% CPU Utilization
When I launch Winamp, my computers CPU utilization goes to 100% and stays there forever. In the processes list in task manager winamp is using around 94% CPU.
Winamp is not actually doing...
