But maybe there is a way to reload the winamp.ini while Winamp keeps running?

Change active sound device without restarting Winamp

I have programmed a small tool, which enables me to quickly change the Windows primary sound device via a traybar icon menu.

The problem is, that Winamp (or the DirectSound plugin) needs a restart...
