Never Mind I found the crossover for the sound...

Never Mind I found the crossover for the sound card. It's under Speaker Settings on the Bass Management tab.

shouldn't the player do the mixing? At least for the sub. OR one must painfully undo mixing so one can enjoy a 5.1 source?

Anyways how can I get the sub to work?

I've read that before. Like I said the CMSS does add a fader to the rear speakers, but it does nothing for my sub. By the way the sub works in DVDs and in the testing mode of the creative speaker...
