All I have found on this problem is that Im going back to winamp 2.81 when winamp was useful, and not a media player clone. (will all the bloatware)

Upgraded to the latest, clean install. Open...

Upgraded to the latest, clean install.

Open up winamp with an empty playlist, bam, 13MB to have it doing nothing. Minimize to tray, and bring it back, 2MB again.

Oh, and since 5.11 and above it...

Huge Memory usage for playlist window

I run winamp 5.11 and have a large collection in the playlist (~13,000).

When the playlist window is open. winamp uses about 55MB of memory.

I close the playlist, and the memory usage stays...
