Hey:

I just realized I said superuser when I meant power user. In other words, I'm a member of the power users' group, and I've never had any problems with CDDB until this one.

Hello:

Egg's fix worked for me also, but I had to be administrator to run regsvr32.

Using Run As... on cmd worked for me.

I've tried this on two separate systems, with same results so I'll dispense with system info unless you really, really need it.

Clearing the cache was a good idea, but that didn't help. I tried wget, firefox and IE.

IE finally worked this morning.

Now I can listen in safety.
