Just an opinion, as well as a measured observation, but using AAC at 128 bitrate is pointless.
There is no significant improvement in sound fidelity between a normal 128 mp3 stream and a 128 AAC...

What I find ironic is debating sound quality between 128 and 64, when 9 times out of 10, people are listening through cheap tiny desktop speakers that cant even give a 8kps stream any more merit....
