STOP using M$ Media player, use free and better alternatives (I use BSplayer, but only pro and older versions... like 1.41 ...) that does not change the global volume and of course you gotta select...

This idea is not any "great idea". In fact, it is almost a WinAMP or more precisely - in_mod.dll bug.
I still keep wondering when someone add the "output dB" options for the modules decoder...
