Well, there is a lot of micromanagement, unless you train your creature to do it all, which can take quite a while. I recently reinstalled it and played the whole way through - it was lots of fun, but then, I already knew what I was doing. I
think the learning curve is screwed up, because by the time you really know how to train your creature, he's already screwed up.
I would reccommend playing through the entire first and second levels (which will take a while), and then restarting the game, and using those levels to teach your creature a bunch of stuff.
