I was going to buy the Fuji S6500fd as well but there weren't any stores in my area that carried them. The main reasons why I got the canon is because the nomber of shots in its burst mode is unlimited compared to the Fuji S6500fd. Another reason was because it actually has image stabilization not just a mode that increases the ISO number. Another reason is because the camerai is very popular so if I ever need repairs or conversion lenses it won't be hard to find them. Also the canon has better telephoto capabilities than theFuji S6500fd but anyways both cameras are very nice, both of them can make equally great pictures.
