I will say it again ... SHOUTcast isn't giving you the flash player because you chose to use your default player. When I go ... I click on a station's tune in button and it gives me a choice of the SHOUTcast radio player or to use my default player.
I posted this because whoever takes care of the "SHOUTcast Radio" flash player setup they use on SHOUTcast.com has a problem. It reconnects every 10 minutes. This wreaks havoc with logs (which everyone seems to think are useless except for us little guys that have to make sure our listeners are legitimate because we don't have many slots available) as well as now messing up the intro file.
But I'm not angry anymore that its messed up .. I can use it to my advantage. I have found a stream provider so I now have 1000 slots and don't have to worry about the mental midgets that used to open 10 players to fill my server or any of the other tricks and attacks that I used my logs to discover and ban. Now I only have to make an intro file stating that if they don't want their music interrupted every 10 minutes they can go to my site and listen to the uninterrupted stream.
