I didn't find anything really useful in that other post. I have no errors in my logs and everything plays fine everywhere but in the shoutcast web player. They just cant get that thing right. I have been complaining about the player for a while now... They finally fixed the problem of the player reconnecting every 10 minutes ... took them forever to do it .. but by doing so they screwed something else up ..

I have not changed any of my settings ... everything was working fine until they put up this new site and new player and got rid of the old classic one completely

which is really stupid in my opinion ... usually companies don't remove the stable version and only offer a beta

but AOL isn't most companies

... and people wonder why I bad mouth AOL

Sorry I wanted to keep this post "nice" but boy I cant seem to stop from getting aggravated when we had a working product and now its broke and theres no way to go back to the working product anymore

I checked the genre and its fine other than the fact that SAMBroadcaster ... in their settings they have genre 1, genre 2, and genre 3 I made sure I set the encoders to only use one.

I am on port 1111 which should be ok ... it has been for years

Thanks for the suggestions Aquarius Antares ... any other things you can think of?

I may just have to put in my station name .... "Web player won't work - Use external player"
