If you're streaming at 128kbps CBR 441000 Stereo, the intro file should match those settings too.

This was how it was originally ... after your post I re-encoded it to match my music files so either way it didn't work... set as 128k CBR 44100 stereo or set to 192K CBR 44100.. no change for either bitrate... and yes I did restart the server after making the changes.
I just checked it ... radiotuna.com uses a flash player... shows up as MPG OVERRIDE on my server ...and it plays fine after the intro finishes. Unfortunately radiotuna is like the old SHOUTcast flash player and it reconnects every 10 minutes (replaying the intro file)
SHOUTcast's previous version of the flash player worked fine with the intro too... its this new version. They screwed something up in it and they need to fix it because anyone with an intro file is screwed ... its done on purpose that's why no one has replied about it.
AOL doesn't want you to use an intro file because they cant figure out how to get the flash player not to repeat the intro file every 10 minutes when the flash player reconnect.
Since the replaying of the intro every 10 minutes usually keeps people from using they SHOUTcast player and switching to external players they lose the "ad exposure" which is strange considering I don't see ads on their SHOUTcast page anymore. They must benefit somehow from having people on their page rather than using an external player.
They didnt like finding out that I was using the intro repeat as a way to bad mouth them and get people to stop using the web player and i got a message saying that they were going to look into the intro replaying every 10 minutes when the flash player reconnected.
Well .. they never got back on that subject ... but they did come out with this new player and page ... and now... what a surprise .. you cant use an intro or the station wont play ... nice way of keeping people from using the intro file. Now they dont have to fix the 'reconnection' intro-replay problem or the reconnecting every 10 minute problem and FUCK the people that use intros .. they are very few and unimportant.
So now I just bad mouth them with my radio title and direct them to my SHOUTcast2 server .. now they have to listen to my intro twice and are refered to my page to connect to the server with an external program or bypass SHOUTcast site completely and use my remote server that doesn't have an intro
They can ignore me and not bother fixing the problems with their player. I just need to figure out a way to change my radio station name to basically state that the web based player is screwed and they dont care so screw SHOUTcast, boycott the web player and connect with a external player.
Unfortunately, they stuck the settings link at the bottom in small writing so most people miss it and don't realize that you can bypass the piece of crap web player and actually have it open in an external player (also probably done on purpose).
Im sick of this ... like I said in some of my other RANTING posts ... AOL totally fucked up SHOUTcast/Nullsoft. Even tho you dont get as much exposure I think I may just give up and go with Icecast at least they fix their problems.
