One thing that a lot of science-educated people agree on is that climate change is actually happening. The issue that remains debated, especially politically debated, is whether or not this change is influenced significantly by humans and whether human factors are causing the climate change. Based on what I have seen, at the very least, there is a correlation that seems unique based on it's matching with human industrial times. Coincidence? Maybe, but at this point, there is nothing that explains the situation more convincingly in my opinion, considering the speed of the changes in the climate and the corresponding and time-matching speed of the changes in human-caused emissions.
