yeah that was a good one the reliant "space shuttle", still only one of those explosive bolts failing was said to be the problem, a bit of a shame that it did too i was really anticipating the radio controlled landing pilot trying to do his job.
as well, you do have a point with the whole UK vs US thing, i'm pretty sure they'd have to have been a bit less ambitious here with some of the stunts they pull, but then again there is an american top gear now and they typically do it more in the format of the road trip challenges so far, most of the show is a road trip with challenges scattered between stops and then one or two diversions mixed in.
but yeah i'll give you that the stuff they do here is much less ambitious and much more american as well, no amphibious car attempts, no racing against fighter jets, no reliant missles, sadly it's almost all thinly disguised rally stages to a point.
furthermore, their professional race driver guy, i forget his name actually has credentials and i don't even mean the stig, he's so smug and unbeatable i regret every laugh that he produces, it's not enjoyable like it was with clarkson and his hammer for every application ham fistedness, it's more.... shut the little twat up, even if he does have his moments.
in short, i'm glad i don't work with them, i'd probably murder that mouthy child.
I hate everyone, so you don't have to.
