. Some of the shit he does probably should be reserved for people under 60
The men in my family really don't slow down much either. My uncle used to mountain goat down trails that would give me pause when he was in his late 80's to go fishin. Lung cancer finally got him at 87.

At 50, I'm feeling like it's "use it or lose it". I'm not any weaker than I was at 30. Get sedentary and you'll end up in a wheelchair. If he's in his 70's and still kicking around doing his stuff, I think that's better than the alternatives.

If it wasn't for cancer, we'd probably live to be 150. You can't wrap em in cotton. Most of these guys are dead now, but most of my uncles could still toss bales at 70. If cancer didn't get em.

Mostly everyone goes along very healthy until something kills them. That won't be from chopping wood or hard work.. unless you aren't used to it...

I'm 50 and I'm in better shape than most 30 year olds. He's been in his body a long time. He knows what it will take and what it won't. You learn too.. How to lift stuff without killing yourself. How to fall without breaking yourself..

60 doesn't seem to be slowing down many of the guys I know unless they were a pile of jello at 30...
