When I was "scrapping", that is to say when I was selling anything metal I could find in his old collapsed barn, I called him out to help me lift some shit up that I couldn't by myself. Some of it he lifted, carried, and placed in the trailer before I even got there, because I was still in eating lunch when he started. I suppose 60 is still a pretty young age, but when you get to where my dad is, there are legit concerns like shoveling wet snow in cold weather - that has proven to cause heart attacks in even the healthiest of senior citizens. I'm not sure why, but a lot of people told me this is the case - something to do with heavy breathing and physical exertion during cold temps.
Don't forget to live before you die.
