Neither have I, but for a first day without time to introduce my self or even meet to person who was to be my "boss" it's a bit weird as well.
I lean towards being unlikeable because I tend to be a bit blunt, honest, but blunt. I don't tip-toe around certain social area's while at work (especially in trades).
