The account I used to register at WA hasn't been active for years. I logged into the forums today, saw all the threads and couldn't believe the activity. Then I started reading them and I have to say I'm going to miss the place.

Some of the members here have literally seen me through some of the most important moments of my life. Of particular note was one member who I've not seen in one time, but nevertheless spent almost 8 hours of her own time talking to me through a very low time. Thanks missyob, wherever you may find yourself.

These forums, somehow, are like an old friend to me. I may not visit often anymore, but when I come back, they welcome me as if I'd never left. They're an online home, if you will, where I might always turn for advice and friendship.

So many of us share life changing events here. I always found it heartwarming how we tell our family, tell our friends, and last but not least, tell our friends over at Winamp. The people here are the closest 'online' friends I have and I suspect that this similarly holds true for many other members.

I'll be sending my contact information via PM to some people here that I'd like to stay in touch with. Thanks to all of you for making me feel so welcome here over the years. I will truly miss this place.
