what happens with what's been setup so far, i don't know as nobody really does (just like with the whole scenario that's playing out at the moment).
it may end up being the one or one of the many if that's what people end up wanting. but there's a lot of things which can happen from where it is now based on what does / doesn't happen or even irrespective of what's going on, maybe an independent enthusiasts forum (as it seems to be angling more towards now anyway) is one tact that it'll take.
being one of the last men standing (to use that phrase), i feel somewhat responsible (even though what's happening is causing me more stress than most others apart from those directly involved internally) that at least something needed to be put in place basically from day-zero so whatever happens here, there's enough time for it to be a bit known than here just all goes away and then thats that.
so that's why i'm viewing what there is as a stop-gap until there's a better idea of how things are panning out and what then to do. plus with everything having been scraped and archived to the eye balls, there's time for user-content sites, etc to be worked out in a more appropriate time (as i've seen talk of a few different ones already though it'll more likely be that most are skin-focused as that's the most common type of content which was generated).
and as i'm shortly going back to being my old 3rd party developer self, whatever comes out of this is going to be affecting me as well as everyone else.
