I was thinking the Duke must be an equal dickhead. I was wrong. Mr. John Wayne was really "the Duke". MTM was and probably still is a lady of impeccable quality. They didn't treat me like I crawled out from under a rock. Wayne stuck a C note in my hand for being a good steward.
And I'll tell you boys... I'd have to go far to run into a gal who was as sweet and as just knock out gorgeous as Audrey Landers. No.. Judy was hot. Audrey was indescribable.

I wonder if they bought any of Grays properties. I hope not. I still own one. It's a gated community with no houses, sewer, water or anything else... but I own a lot. It's sort of sliding downhill now.. And I did have another one, but it's underwater. Fortunately my lot didn't have a house on it when the Pacific Ocean reclaimed some land.
But the end of John Grays real estate adventures is another story too.
But look. If he wasn't paying me pretty well and a half...... I never would have owned a couple house lots that ended up being worthless.

Mr. Gray gave me about $40K when I worked for him and I got stung for $6K. I wasn't bitching at the time and I'm not gonna bitch too much all these years later.
I'm gonna blame the ocean more than John Gray. He took a bath on it. Of course, he did have about $250 million dollars to take a flyer.
