Amp, a registered trademark of Playsystems Inc. that AOL licensed to be able to call Winamp...WinAMP. A company that has it's own AMP branded products.
For you to be right and me to be wrong the brand would have to be completely worthless. I think it's still worth a few million. More than a stamp.
