Have same version of WinAmp, and I love the lyrics plugin. Sounds more like a WinAmp- settings corruption problem than a lyrics plugin problem. Backup your system. Then try uninstalling, then re-installing WinAmp. I know that that's a PIA, but that's what I would do.
