converting wmas to mp3s

thank you very much...thats quite helpful. however, i am not a great audiophile - and the music in the WMAs is not very much to my taste so I probably wouldnt be listening to them that much.
However, i will probably use some for a party (v. loud music - not quite ringing in the ears but almost). Would the quality loss be noticeable then?
if i do decide to convert, what program would you recommend?
