Hi there.
I'm getting invalid page faults when running under Windows 98SE. It's the typical "This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down." error.
Winamp v5.11
Here is the error:
-------------------------------------------------------
WINAMP caused an invalid page fault in
module WINAMP.EXE at 0167:00428974.

This error happens every single time you double-click an MP3 in Windows Explorer. It does not matter if WA is stopped, or playing an MP3 when you double-click, the same error results.
The errors are all exactly the same - character for character.
The really weird thing is, once you click [CLOSE], Winamp keeps running as happily as before; IE: it does not shut down after this message, it begins playing the new song, and just keeps working fine.
Nuts, eh?
Does this make any sence to any of you?
System is an older Compaq Presario 2262, 233MHz, 64MB RAM, but this is normally plenty juicy enough to play MP3's.
I am not trying to play video, just MP3's.
I will try v5.24 and see what happens...
