Those aren't the ones I bought. I bought the EX51LP for $40. They aren't bad at all.

I can't stand earnubs. I use DJ headphones or studio headphones, and they are by far the best headphones with the best quality of sound. but you would need to buy an attachment to make the headphone input smaller so it can fit into the zune.

About a year has passed and I want to get some regular headphones(not in-ear/earbud type). I'll say about $100-$150. I'd prefer to be able to buy in store if possible.

I bought a set of the CX-300's for $19 at the local computer store. You could go spend more money, but then you'd just have less money. I think they are the most comfortable ear buds I ever used. Nice sounding. Sturdy. Worth it.

If you have $300 then you'd probably want the best headphone ever made... no kidding... I tried these but $300 made me gasp too much... where's the steering wheel? Available, if you can believe it, at Radioshark.

I need to get away from earbuds. My left ear gets sore if I use earbuds. Senheiser does seem like a good idea to me.

I've also never had any faith in what Dr. Dre sells.

some of the best you can get for the price point. The sound they deliver is great. Some DJ's live by them.

For just listening, I love the Shure e2c's that I bought a while ago, but they are earbuds, which you want to get away from.

Look for anything serious DJ's use. They will be comfortable, have great noise canceling, and deliver phenomenal sound. Sennheiser is one of those ...

Yeah, that would have put me off too. One of the reasons I thought these phone were great is the real manufacturer Monster. They look bulletproof. One thing is sure, it doesn't look like you'd rip a cable easy. You ought to at least pop over to your local Radioshaft and try em. For home use, it looks like they could be your last set of phones.
