I am told I need to place a crossdomain.xml file on my stream server to get a flash player to play AAC files from a shoutcaster server.

WHERE should this go on a linux server?
My sc_serv file is in /sc1/9018 and /sc1/8188
I have placed a crossdomain.xml file in these directories and they are not playing ball. I have made the files 777 just incase.
What do have to do get the XML recognized?
