I am a complete idiot! Bela Lugosi, NOT Boris Karloff was Dracula. Edited for further clarifacation.

Anyway, the original 1925 Phantom of the Opera was Lon Chaney, not to be confused with Dick Cheney, equaly strange looking VP nominee.
"Nosferatu: Phantom der Nacht" should be
available at any good video rental place.
And it's been playing off and on all month on the Independent Film Channel, if you've got cable. Roland Topor is also amazing as "Renfield", the mad laughter is quite memorable. I'd also reccomend anything by it's director, Werner Herzog, especialy "Aguirre, the Wrath of God" or "Fitzcarraldo" But I warn you, everything is subtitled!
