For the record, Pyrex cookware is no where near the quality of their labware. You can put their labware through hell and back (direct flame --> ice bath kind of stuff; heating untill the glass glows red; etc) and it will not break (usually).

I tried it with cookware (until it got too expensive) and the stuff broke every time.

Course, then again, a 250 mL flask for the lab costs $50.
