Ok, what I did was remove winamp rating and changed the value in popularimeter. Which now seems stupid. I confirmed that adding a rating with the standard email address is shown as winamp rating. With my email address it is shown as popularimeter. So exactly what you described.

However, assuming the POPM looks like this: Email|Rating|Playcounter

I rated some files and checked the tag and I had a rating of 0 for some files. Yet Winamp knew the rating even after a restart. edit: occasionaly it doesn't. So now with a custom email address the rating is broken?

And what does winamp store in Playcounter? A random value?
