M4A files sound worse than MP3 in Winamp
I have also experienced this phenom and will add that the M4A generated before I added the Pro ver to produce MP3 also give me heartache when played over a reliable generic playback system...each CD carefully checked for quality, but output randomly phizzles, i.e., skips, blips, causes system to balk, etc. To solve my problem: will re-burn my old CDs into Pro MP3. This may sound awkward, but it is the least of the evils. Best regards.
