I've been to a couple of outside gigs the past few days and am loving having bought the 70-300mm lens. It's awesome for pics of people on stage.

I am wishing there was a proper battery grip for the D50, not because I want more battery life (I've taken about 500 shots, had the camera on literally all day and transfered them all with still a full battery), but because I want the shutter release button for taking portrait shots. Alas there isn't one for the D50 and the one for the D70 is a bit dodgy. Sux.
