I've edited the first post to refer to the Playlist Generator bug, and how to fix it.
Note that the ml_plg-specific database files in the Plugins\Gracenote folder are:
cddbplm.pdb, cddbplm.idx, cddbplm.gcf
Do NOT delete any other files in that folder (the DLL's), else you'll completely break Gracenote CDDB, Auto-Tagger and Playlist Generator, and also lose your cd database (cddb.db) in the process.
When enabling album art in the enlarged playlist, switching from full view to windowshade mode, back to full again makes the album art go away :/ In other words, it doesn't seem to remember that it should show album art again when switching back to full.
Although many Vista issues have been addressed, we're pretty certain that the remaining issue is related to this:
* Fixed: DWM Thumbnails & Flip3D for Modern skins in Vista
DWM thumbnails doesn't seem to like milkdrop, and maybe other vis plugins.
We could just remove the fix (which means that the offscreen classic window thumbnail will show again, instead of modern/bento/etc skin), or somehow try come up with a better hack....

Not sure if this was planned behavior or not.
Yup! I have that one as well.
Many thanks go to the dev team and their hard work.
Winamp 5.x crashes when I insert my Sansa Express MP3 player in my computer's USB port.
Also, it would have been nice if the built-in web browser was built using the Gecko engine and NOT from AOL Browser. With the exposure that this media player has it could've beat the PANTS off Songbird!
Also, this would be the ULTIMATE player if the functionality for the PaceMaker plugin was integrated into the player. Being able to bend pitches and change tempos is CRUCIAL I tell you!

Seems like you have it under control, but I would just add my report that I just had a hard crash upon close.
BTW, DWM thumbnails are displaying correctly in winshade and "collapse window" mode (for lack of a better name) but not when Bento is open fully.
the large album art window looks a bit weird though when the playlist window is wide, would've been nice to have it snap to the the picture borders but it's not really possible with the current design i guess.
and it still closes the playlist window on start up for me, showing it for like half a second before doing so.

On the view itself next to the image is the list of tags - Artist,Album,Tracks, etc. "Artist" is actually "Album Artist", so that won't do it...unless I'm being dense which is possible.
Originally posted by niktheguru Another thing guys. Could we please have the option to tag the album art to the IDv3 tags through winamp (at the moment you can only tag to the image file in the folder)
If such a feature is added, please make it optional.
I (and I'm sure a few others) would rather save the memory/bandwidth
that would be used in adding such images to the ID3v2 tags.
Whereas I am NOT so worried about memory usage on my computer
(and as such am making full use of the %album%.* option) ...
I am concerned about memory usage on my mobile device
(and as such would rather prioritize additional songs over Album Art).
