Colour Editing of skins
Right, im a complete newb to editing skins, I can only just about use Photoshop.
But, ive downloaded the yaXay skin for Winamp3, which absolutely rocks, and would like to change the orange colour to blue to match my desktop theme. Is there any way to do this easily for a newb like me? If so could you give me info step by step. Thnx |

select the lcd and do the following.
colorize hue, saturation, lum 214, 25, -25 CGA-STACKS (DA) | AIRPS 2.0 (DA) | AIRPS 2.0 (Removed by WA.com Available @ DA) | MAKI/M Ext Icons | Oberon |

Sorry to inform you but the yaXay skin is not properly configured for color themes. I just checked and the skin has no color theme groups also different colors are parts of the same image that make up the skin. This would make a symmetric theme difficult to make.
In later versions of Winamp3 Color theme editing would be reimplemented. For now you would just have to wait for this additon and another skin you like that is also themeable. Sorry.

Well I don't know how it would look in this case (it might have been what GLewellen was talking about), since there is no way to modify the gamma you can modify the graphics, you can use curves or colorize or add a layer and use the color blend mode.... there are lots of ways. If your no good with photoshop or PSP then there is only one answer wait and hope.
