OMG, took me about 5 hours, but I finally wrote my first raytracer in AVS! It has a diffuse lit ball, and a background.
What ya'll think of it? |

Not bad
. I did the same thing a while ago, but it drew the entire picture in one scope (much slower) and had reflections/procedural textures.

Impressive technically, but not a preset I'd watch while listening to music.

i like it, but steven's preset was better, (it was VERY slow but it was better)

Where is UnConed's ray tracer scope? I hear great things about it. And as for reflections/procedural textures, that's my next challenge.

I did one 2 just now based on Unconeds water cube it didnt take much work moastly copy/paste but looks ok |
