n00by cant get SHOUTcast to work for him...please help

I have read and read till my eyes bleed but cant seem to get this working.
I have WinAmp 2.81 and the DSP plug-in installed.
I configure it to the best of my knowledge,but when I click 'connect',it wont,it quickly disconnects.
What am I doing wrong?Did I miss something?Is there something else I need to download?

My main goal is to have people from my website tune in on saturday nights or something and listen to my play lists.

Can I get someone to help me out with n00b explainations

I have AIM,ICQ,YAHOO,MSN if that helps.

Sounds like you don't have the DNAS (Shoutcast server)...

Check out the Sticky post titled...
