MSVC...dll error when I install 2.8x

All...

I have downloaded the WinAMP 2.80 full and 2.81 full .exe files to install the latest 2.x version of WinAMP. Both of these versions give me an error message about MSVC...dll not found in path.

I think something went wrong in your build.

try uninstalling the old winamp verison and redownloading the new one and installing it. If that doesn't work it's something with your computer i have 2.81 and it works fine.

winamp needs MSVCRT.DLL that you don't have
