how do I connect to a lan SC server?

I have the DSP broadcast successfully connected to my DNAS server. but how exactly can people connect to it over a LAN?

It won't connect to the shoutcast server directory due to internet restrictions on my network. but it should still work on the LAN right?

You can still use it in a LAN environment. You just need to give people a link in the form of: http://IP:PORT/listen.pls where IP will be the LAN IP (i.e. 192.168.1.123) and PORT is the PortBase (by default 8000).
