Help me!

I recently downloaded Winamp3 then 2 so I could use the Shoutcast thingy, anyway, I found a few instructions on the web but they didn't work

basically i can download everything and enter everything in the winamp pref, but when i click the connect button it doesn't connect! I dont know why so any if anyone could help, please could they!
