Here's a little concept I created while playing with photoshop today

It looks like an apple

Anyway, I didn't start this with the aim of making a new screen, but if many people like it and I can think of some cool features, then I'll finish it.

ps: the buttons there are just test dumies. it's nothing near final design.

Hey, that looks really cool! A bit big, but I'm sure you'll do a great Shade mode as well. I think it has a lot of potential. =)

it doesnt look that big .. but the bottom of the skin apears to be .. "blured" may just be the image .. but other then that i think it looks great

Ohh, now that's nice Adil. Make it!! Don't change the buttons to much either, I like the play and the other large on just fine how they are. I like the size too, it looks good on my 1152x864 res.

One more thing - Keep this one simple Adil!

right... like the cheap rings at walmart are huge to make them look like they are expesive while the real expensive ones are simple. Complexity is awesome. Simplicity is king though.

the top door will probably open-up to display audio settings like bass, treble, balance, mute etc...
the bottom drawer is not a drawer, it's a rotating thing with 4 sides.
one side will be the thinger, the second will be the eq, the third will be the options, fourth is surprse (means I don't know yet

)

oh this thingo will be undockable so that it can be used with the winshade.

I'm aware of some parts not looking great, I'll be fixing them soon.
now I guess I gotta finish neoJB first.

Aero will not be coded by gonzotek anymore, waiting to see what I'd do with it.
Boom 1.1 is on its way though willfisher and I are busy on other stuff.
now I wish bizzy_d comes back so we can get neoJB done first.

The gloss on the white version's bottom drawer(?) looks a little off to me. It looks smooth on the dark version, but kind of pointed and beveled on the white. The black one seems to have more dimension in general.

I really like this, it has that "Adil" feel to it. Can't wait to see more.

Hi all, I think I've only ever posted once. I may not even have posted, but I just wanted to say that Adil's skinning is one of the best here, you're definitely one of the top guys.
I really like this new design you got as well, and would love to see it done. Just to give you some confidence cos I think it looks great, and I'm sure it will go through a few more changes before it's done. Keep up the good work

Theres something about the 3D-perspective on the skin that annoys me. On one hand it looks like its being viewed from above (top drawer), and on the lower part of the skin it looks as if its in front of you. Does this make any sense? Am I the only one having a problem with this?

i dunno if i like this one too much, mainly its just the odd formed shape, i dont eat too many apples

plus that aerial thing just doesnt do any justice so far, although without it, i guess it would look worse.

this was not meant ever to be a skin it was to show concepts in photoshop and see how people responded to them (as you can see this concept really doesnt have a style similar to any other skin)
