Question about Shoutcast delay

It seems the later people connect to my stream, the more delay they have. I've had people connect to the stream and start listening 2 minutes before the present, and it seems to get progressively more delayed the later someone connects to the stream. Any fix for this?

shoutcast has a 1MB buffer so everyone will be ~1MB behind in the stream. Then you add in internet connectivity latency and the winamp buffer, it all adds up, there is no way to make anymore realtime.
