Possible to keep a Shoutcast station running with switch user on XP?

I was just wondering...I have a computer downstairs in the basement that I never turn off. I'd like to have a Shoutcast station streaming on there constantly, but I don't like having the Winamp window open all the time.

Could I make a new account on that computer, start the Shoutcast server, turn the Winamp volume down, switch user, and continue doing my work on another account? Would the Shoutcast account keep streaming music?
