Embedding & Volume

Hi,

I have now set my station up but i would like to put it on my site.

Can you tell me the code i need to enter into the page so it plays when the page opens like as a little applet.

I dont get how to do it? Also when your station is live is there any way you can mute the music so you don’t hear the music, but its still broadcasting over the net?

Thanks for the help!

1. LInks:
DNAS link: http://yourDNASip:yourDNASport
Listen link: http://yourDNASip:yourDNASport/listen.pls

Just replace yourDNASip with the ip of the DNAS (SHOUTcast server) and yourDNASport with the DNAS port (default is 8000)

Machines on the same lan as the DNAS (you) need to use the lan ip of the DNAS to connect/listen.
Machines not on the same lan as the DNAs (the rest of the world) need to use the real, world-visible ip of the DNAS to connect/listen.

2. Embedded player:
Check out http://www.freedomaudio.com

3. Use the null output plugin:
Check out the results from a SHOUTcast forum search on 'null output'.

Look for a post by mrlayance titled:
No Soundcard

Sorry i forgot to ask, how do you also switch it back?

And can i ask in the Server Monitor Program where you can edit the config file i found the following line:

; ListenerTimer is a value in minutes of maximum permitted time for
; a connected listener. If someone is connected for longer than this
; amount of time, in minutes, they are disconnected. When undefined,
; there is no limit defined. Default is undefined.
; ListenerTimer=600

How do i set it so it does not kick anyone off, i want them connected all the time?

thanks agian,
