This rocks (Seriously, seriously rocks), but don't use straight-up getosc for syncing. Use something like this:
random=((getosc(0.47,0,0)*bignumber)%returns)/range-range/2;
which is effectively the same as:
random=rand(returns)/range-range/2;
Anyway...man this is cool

I assume Tom is Tom Holden aka CFP?

You assume right.

sincing? since there is only one place i used getosc I think I know what you mean. Because of low response with quiet music?

It causes the buffer display to be delayed a certain number of frames/beats. It's what makes the texered points follow a tentacle-like path.

Yes I have it but it won't load, or at least I don't think it does, because it says "unknown render object" then says those details.

Awesome! Too bad the effect is lost a bit when the cube becomes too small. You should try making the size beat/sound responsive.

By the way try this:
set the colormap in the second effect list to Adjustable, 25% and turn down the fadeout.

Makes the outer tentacles change color slowly
