Problems with SHOUTcast Server!
Hello!
I have some problems with the shoutcast server. I get this error: <02/16/03@04:16:32> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave error (HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request) Does anyone know how to fix that? People can listen to the radio, but it lags very much. If I switch to another song, it takes 1-2 minutes before it happens to the listener. Plz, I need help ![]() Thanks |

1.
Check out the results from a SHOUTcast forum search on '400 bad request'. Look for the post by eth1k titled: [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave error (HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request) Look for the post by jsd2k titled: bad request??? 2. Check out the results from a SHOUTcast forum search on 'delay', or 'buffer', or 'lag', or 'latency', or 'real time', or.... The answer to all is: The buffer allows QoS (quality of service) to the listener. If you want real time, then SHOUTcast is not the solution. |
