Shoutcast Volume Problem

Someone please help me, im at my wits end!!

I was all set to do my first net broadcast, using Winamp 2.8 and Shoutcast, went through the installation process with someone that knows and this is what happens....

When using the "push to talk" feature in Shoutcast as it should the music fades I talk then I release the button and but instead of the music normalising at the previous volume, it gets louder (too loud)
except when i release the push to talk button the volume gets too, then i have to literally click on the volume slider in winamp to correct it.

So to put things into easy language I "push to talk" release the button, look at my winmixer and the wave fader goes sky high!

It seems to me theres some kinda conflict, can anyone suggest what might be going on?

Thanks in advance.

Adjust the Music Level under the Input tab of the DSP.
