changing ip's
I want to change from:
IP: 127.0.0.1 Port: 8000 ---to--- IP: 67.84.20.128 Port:1278 How do i do that? |

well 127.0.0.1 is just the default address for localhost,
if your running shoutcast on a live connection you should be able to connect to it from any address unless you have a firewall/router runningm, also you can change the port# from the shoutcast config file. sc_serv.conf , the name may be different depending on what OS your running. thx. I changed the port# and it worked, but 67.84.20.128 does not work. What do i do now?

Machines on the same lan as the DNAS (you) need to use the lan ip of the DNAS to connect/listen.
Machines not on the same lan as the DNAS (the rest of the world) need to use the real, world-visible ip of the DNAS to connect/listen. |
