Cannot hear anything

I open a server and it shows it is playing but not getting any sound. Any mp3 file I have on my computer works fine. I am using a Linksys router though, any ports that need to be opened so I can listen to servers?

Looked at that, that seems like it is for servers and not listeners.. or is it for listener also?
