"now playing" listing on website
Hi All,
I have been reading about PHP and XML now for hours and i am semi-proficient in computer languages...VB, HTML, etc..., but all i seem to be getting is a techincal headache.... can someone please tell me in PLAIN ENGLISH!! what i need to do be able to display my current song now playing, and the last 5 songs played on a section of my website, i could just put a link to my servers admin page...http://64.252.154.14:8000/played.html, but i dont want users to be able to access the other links such as /index.html.....can anyone help me?? |

Check out the Sticky post titled:
SHOUTcast: Important Info & Answers to FAQs. READ ME! Scroll down a bit and look for the section titled: General SHOUTcast Information -> SHOUTcast ToolBox (All sorts of nifty add-ons for SHOUTcast) There is a pre-packaged PHP tool available that you can customize. You can't hide the DNAS pages, sorry. |

you might be able to use IIS to control acces permissions so that people cant see the dnas, its just a theory but im sure you could do it...
