encoder question .. please help

before in my encoder tab i could choose in the encoder settings MONO + STEREO kbps settings .. but now it only shows MONO kbps settings and not any STEREO .. i thought it was the mp3 codec problem so i re-downloaded radium mp3, but that didn't fix anything. whats my problem here?
