Speaking on radio via shoutcast

Hi there.
I seem to be encountering 2 problems. My listners have told me that the streaming buffers very regularly, any ideas why this is so?

Secondly, when I started to speak in to the mike after changing the option to "soundcard", my voice went at super-speed according to my listeners..any idea why?

What speed settings should I set my shoutcast at?

I'm on broadband and the server is hosted on my computer.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Josh

Well I think it buffers so regularly because you have to have a higher Bitrate.

Not sure but it should do the trick.

You mean bitrate?!

Go to Encoding ---> Set a Higher Bitrate to something like 56, 90. If you have Broadband.
